Studio Guide

Everything you need for a smooth, stress-free experience at Little Light Studio.

We recommend bookmarking this page or taking a few screenshots so everything you need is ready to reference during your session.

  • Please arrive at your scheduled reservation time, as your booking includes setup, photography, cleanup, and returning the studio to its original condition.

    You’ll receive a separate email before your reservation with your building access instructions and unique door code. Your access will remain active for a short period after your reservation ends to allow time for cleanup and locking up.

    Little Light Studio is located on the second floor floor of the building. Both a passenger elevator and a freight elevator are available for easy access with equipment. Street parking is available throughout the neighborhood, and the studio is just a short walk from the G train.

    If you’re running late, your reservation will still end at its scheduled time, as we often have bookings following yours.

  • Little Light Studio was designed by a photographer to make your sessions effortless. From natural light and our LED daylight wall to curated furniture, posing pieces, professional lighting equipment, and newborn add-ons, everything has been chosen to help you create beautiful images with ease.

  • Everything in the studio has been thoughtfully chosen by a photographer to help you create beautiful work with ease.

    Furniture and posing pieces may be moved during your session. Please lift items rather than dragging them, and return everything to its original location before you leave.

    Professional lighting equipment is included with your rental. If you’ve reserved additional add-ons, such as seamless paper backdrops or the newborn collection, they’ll be prepared whenever possible before your arrival.

  • To help keep Little Light Studio beautiful for everyone, we kindly ask that you treat the space with care.

    • Please lift furniture instead of dragging it.

    • Light snacks and drinks are welcome. Please clean up after yourself and help us keep the studio beautiful for the next photographer.

    • No confetti, glitter, smoke bombs, powder, or other difficult-to-clean materials without prior approval.

    • Children must be supervised at all times.

    • Please report any accidental damage before leaving.

    • If you’re unsure whether something is permitted, simply reach out. We’re happy to help.

  • Before your reservation ends, please take a few moments to:

    • Return all furniture, props, and equipment to their original locations.

    • Dispose of any trash and leave the studio in the same condition you found it.

    • If you used seamless paper, please roll it up according to the instructions provided.

    • If anything was accidentally damaged during your reservation, please let us know before you leave. We understand that accidents happen, and prompt communication allows us to prepare for the next photographer.

    • Lock the studio and ensure the door is securely closed before you leave.
